NC4Marriage Coalition

NC4Marriage is a statewide coalition of voters, churches, ministry and denominational leaders, policy organizations, and political leaders who are working together to get a Marriage Protection Amendment bill passed by the General Assembly, so the people of our State have the opportunity to put the true definition of marriage in our State Constitution. It is designed to educate and equip voters so they will contact their elected lawmakers and urge them to pass a bill placing an Amendment to the North Carolina Constitution on the ballot for a vote of the citizens in the November 2009 election.

Ultimately, the goal is to garner a majority of the voters of the state to amend the North Carolina Constitution to define marriage as the union of one man and one woman.
