New NC Family Policy Council Poll finds that an overwhelming majority of voters in each legislative district in the State (except for 5 House districts)  and 73% of likely voters statewide support the Marriage Protection Amendment. 71% of voters said they are more likely to vote for a legislative candidate who supports a Constitutional Marriage Amendment defining marriage as "only the union between one man and one woman." New Civitas Institute Poll finds that 76% of likely voters in North Carolina support passage of a Marriage Protection Amendment. 64% of voters said they are less likely to re-elect a legislator who refuses to support the Amendment.
